Jazz Concert

今晚去聽了一場音樂會
是屬於jazz的
以前沒聽過這種風格
感覺還蠻不一樣的

I attended a jazz concert at the National Concert Hall earlier this evening. The band includes four people, the pianist, the guitarist, the bass player (what do you call that?) and the drummer.

The pianist, who’s from Japan, seemed to be in lead; her fingers were magical, she played so fast at times you could almost see a trailing shadow following her moments.

She mentioned during the performance that her first overseas performance, which took place 17 years ago, happened in Taiwan. It took her 17 years to make it back, but she loves Taiwan because it was here she found herself and decided she wanted to be a professional performer. She’s quite talented. Just watching her fingers move is facinating~

Once again, I was very lucky to be offered complimentary seating in the concert. Compliments of MH. We sat in the third row and could see clearly even the musicians’ facial expressions.
