One of our new supervisors called for a Pow-Wow Lunch Meeting.  Basically it was a way of sitting down enjoying a meal and time together.

Excerpt from the meeting invitation:

The word “Pow-Wow” is used by North America tribes to describe the meeting of people for dance, sing, socializing, and honouring culture. We will be meeting in an informal setting to discuss. From time to time (as needed) I will call for a Pow-Wow and we will meet over lunch to discuss any new developments, rules/regulations, or other issues. These meetings are informal and meant to encourage participation, so bring your questions and/or ideas or just come along to hear the latest gossip. Unfortunately there will be no dancing competition!

So lunch was at Amigo’s, a Mexican restaurant within walking distance of our workplace.  We enjoyed a lovely meal together.  It’s been so long since I’ve have fabulous Mexican food!  Totally recommend the place!
