Day 4 @ Ocean Park, Hong Kong
Early Monday morning, the pack of us, Kitty, Kitty’s sister and family of four, Kitty’s other niece and I, started off on our adventure to the Ocean Park. Years ago, when my family visited Hong Kong, we were going to visit the Ocean Park, but never did make it there as my sister fell ill.

It’s like a theme park, built on the mountainside of an island. From the entrance, we could look out and see the water, look up and see parts of the various structures of Ocean Park as well as construction zones of future facilities. Upon entering, we had to take lengths and lengths of elevator just to get to a higher position.

We spent most of the day at the Ocean Park with the kids. From time to time, the kids would say they wanted to go on such and such rides and the adults took turns going on rides with them. At one point I found myself a bench in the shade and propped up my right leg, relaxing in the shade.

By the end of the day, the three kids were a very tired bunch. When we got off the MTR, we stopped at the local mall to do some shopping. That’s were I picked up my lovely metalic blue cane which has come in especially handy since I’ve taken off my knee brace.

The theme at the mall must have been racing. With receipts for purchase of anything in the mall, the kids could have a go with the stuff on display. We saw indoor race tracks and stations where kids could play with the equipment. There was even a racecar on display.
